Stuck, found a bug, or something is not working? Email support@cauldron.one. Include your device model, OS version and what happened - a screenshot or screen recording helps a lot.
Which platforms does Ferrostorm run on?
Ferrostorm is in development for iOS, macOS and Android. This page will list the exact minimum OS versions once the game is released on each store.
How do the touch controls work?
- Tap a unit or building to select it.
- Drag on open ground to box-select a group.
- Double-tap a unit to select every unit of that type on screen.
- Two-finger drag pans the camera; pinch zooms.
- Long-press for context actions.
- Control groups sit in the thumb zone at the edge of the screen.
On macOS, the mouse works the way you expect from a desktop RTS: left to select, right to command, wheel to zoom, middle-drag to pan.
Where are my saved games?
Saves and settings are stored locally on your device. They are removed if you delete the app. The game has no cloud sync yet, so saves do not transfer between devices.
Does the game need an internet connection?
No. Ferrostorm is fully playable offline. It has no accounts, no ads and no online services.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases go through the app stores, so refunds do too:
- Apple App Store: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play: use the order history in the Play Store account page.
We cannot issue store refunds ourselves, but if a bug is what drove you to ask for one, tell us - we want to fix it.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@cauldron.one with what you did, what you expected and what happened instead. For security issues, use the process on the security page.
